Language Teaching Experience

I am a passionate high school Italian teacher with five years of classroom experience. I firmly believe in research-based SLA methodologies and the establishment of an enjoyable, positive, family culture in the classroom. I have taught all levels of Italian at the secondary level, and am 1 of 2 high school Italian teachers in the country to serve as a member of College Board's AP Italian Exam Development Committee. In the past five years in the Lenape Regional High School District (LRHSD), I have tripled enrollment in AP, secured over $25,000 in grants and scholarships for my students and program, presented L2 classroom activities & tasks at regional conferences, and led roundtables for Italian teachers.
