This was one of the first pieces I did in the graduate program. It shows my ability to take a prompt and interpret it to fit my ideas and learning. It also helped me to analyze learning and how it was connected to understanding. This artifact drove my thinking for the rest of the program and my teaching.
This artifact is a writing about results from a survey done to gather information on a problem of pratice. I was able to show my understanding of the empathy step in the larger design process and how to be unbiased in my descriptions.
This statement takes my ideas about learning and leadership and creates a overall vision. I took information that was gathered throughout a semester to build an overarching idea. This could be used outside of my coursework as time goes on.
This video discusses my thoughts on leadership and my personal philosophy. This allowed me to take what I learned in my program and apply it to real life. I was able to find what is important to me in learning and leadership.
This is a lesson plan that I created using an educational technology lense. I used a lesson that I do each year and added some educational technology pieces to it (3D printer). I wanted to make sure that the addition of technology was meaningful and not an afterthought.
This artifact is an assessment that I created for students to complete at their own pace. I researched best practices and adjusted an assessment that I already use and added content to enhance it for a greater audience.
This artifact is an essay about my ideas on learning, I try to use this when I am finding content for my classroom. This has helped me identiry my thoughts and condense my ideas into more manageable pieces.
This video shows the importance of context when planning a lesson. I used the idea of TPACK (technical, pedagogical and content knowledge) to show that context matters. If you don't look at a lesson with the right lense then the technology, and/or content may not work the way it is expected.
This video was the final piece to a network learning project, for this project I had to learn how to do something new by using an outside network (chatrooms, websites, etc). It was a lesson in finding resources outside your direct network but it was also a lesson in grit and determination.
This artifact is a final discussion of a problem of practice, something that is a problem in my profession that I wanted to try to change or at least do some more research on. This document discusses all of the steps in a process that took a semester to work through.
