What do I believe about teaching and learning foreign languages? 

True learning involves the act of creation.
Every student is capable of learning.
The best teachers are perpetual learners.

These four statements capture just a few of the beliefs that influence how I teach and interact with my students. The essay below presents key principles that I use to guide my language teaching and also explains how I carry out those principles in my classroom.
