The old load cell has a calFactor = 31154.25 when tested with a 15 lb dumbbell on 1/12/2022. It outputs and nominal value of 262 lb with no load with an input of 5 Volts. When a load is applied to the old load cell the output of load cell decreases.
The new load cell is rated for 50 kg. The new load cell has a calFactor = -43320.25 when tested with a 15 lb dumbbell on 1/12/2022. It outputs and nominal value of -193 lb with no load with an input of 5 Volts. Applying a load to the new load cell increases its output value.

The load cells work with an HX711 amplifier.
The outputs of the load cell are:
Red wire: Supply voltage: 5 Volts
Black wire: GND
White wire: A-
Green wire: A+
The load cell is mounted at the front of the test stand and is in direct contact the sliding support. The thrust generated from the pulse jet is directly being applied to the load cell therefore giving a compressive force.
The 90-degree bend that load cell is attached to could be improved by having a hole at the exact height of the sliding support pin and the right diameter hole to fit a bolt that the different diameter load cells holes.
An idea would be to have the load cell and the sliding support could be mounted to where there was a wire keeping the load cell in tension with the sliding support.
