Teachers have also been trained on the Orton-Gillingham approach to reinforce phonics concepts. Your child will practice "red words". Both will be incorporated throughout the week and will be a part of your child's grade.

A big focus of writing narratives will be to build up your child's stamina. We also have a handwriting workbook. First we review manuscript letters and then we move on to cursive letters. The kids get very excited about cursive!
