Hello, my name is Moon Retzer and I am Co-Editor-in-Chief on The Courier. I've been writing for the school paper since my Sophomore year of High School and honestly, I never thought I'd get this position. I am overjoyed to be sharing this with my Co-Editor, Kaysi Borchers, and appreciate the help from our Assistant, Ashlynn Rath. Thank you to all of those who supported me and thank you to those who are my friends. 

A bit about me, I'm 18 as of August 5th. I have been working two jobs, one being Hot Topic as a Sales Associate and Spirit Halloween as a Sales-floor Supervisor.

I hate to say it, but High School does go fast. I don't want to sound cheesy or cliche, but it's true. A lot happens in High School and it happens incredibly fast. I am not the same scared, outcasted teenager I used to be my Freshman year and The Courier really pulled me out of my shell.

I guess what I am trying to say is live it to the fullest, even when you're scared. If you only live once, wouldn't you want your life to be a happy one?
