Journalism Adviser
I am Mrs. Weigress, and I am the advisor to The Courier staff. My role is as the name implies. I offer advice to the staff throughout the publication process. While I do not write or pick ideas, I offer guidance and support, occasionally do grammar and fact checks, and do what I can to make sure we are both ready and able to print/publish.
Outside of Journalism, I also teach English III at Mandan High School. When not prepping, teaching, or advising, I spend time hanging out with my husband, Bryce, and my dog, Lady. We go on walks and hikes, watch movies, and listen to music together. In addition, I like to spend time reading, doing some creative writing, and playing video games.
