"Once I was working at Pizza Ranch and this customer crashed out because the cheesy bread tasted like ranch... I then told him the full name, “Cheesy Ranch Bread”. He argued about why it contains ranch as a sauce. I told him I didn't know but it was labeled on the buffet on the glass directly above it. Then I got a manager and he argued with them for another 20 minutes."

"One of the wildest customer service experiences I’ve ever had at Pizza Ranch happened at the buffet. A guy came in with his pants down to his knees, proudly rocking bright Baby Shark underwear like it was the latest trend. He was waddling around the buffet line like it was totally normal, and I had to try to take his order and answer questions while dodging a very distracting display of cartoon sharks. Every time I tried to focus on work, he would pop up somewhere else, acting completely serious about his requests. By the time he finally left, I had technically done my job—but I also had a permanent mental image of Baby Shark staring at me from the seating area."

"I was taking this ladies family order and it was a big group. She told me what drink she wanted but didn’t tell me if she wanted it hot or iced, what size, etc. After she told me what she wanted the rest of her family chipped in what they wanted as well. No one told me how they wanted their drinks. So I had to go over every single drink to let sure they were made right. When I finally got to her drink I asked, “For that white mocha would you like it, hot or iced?” She stared at me for a second then said “Uh yes that’s everything.” I sighed and asked again. She then said “ Yes, that’s all for today.” I took a deep breath and asked her again. She looked at me and said “Yes, small.” I took one last deep breath. “Ma’am would you like your white mocha hot or iced?” I said it a bit louder and her husband awkwardly laughed and told her that I’ve been asking her and she should make up her mind. She ended up changing her drink order completely. She ended up getting an iced chai latte, medium with hazelnut and mocha."

"One time I delivered food to a lady who closed the door behind me when I entered, had all the lights off, and thought I was trying to scam her and lifted my hat off my head to get a good look at me while asking over and over if I was up to something funny. When I was leaving I saw her peering out her door watching me leave. She also wouldn’t give the restaurant her phone number because she thought we were going to come and hurt her, yet she called the store, and she made all delivery drivers park down the street by a tree so her neighbors wouldn’t know she ordered food. This is completely counterintuitive, as you still have to walk to her door, she orders frequently, and is apparently like this often. Every delivery driver at the restaurant has a story about her."
