All Grades 3 through 6 students in MSAD 52 use Google Classroom as their primary learning platform.
Google Classroom is a website where teachers can create and collect assignments from students, as well as communicate and provide feedback. Because students and teachers in our district use a variety of Google services across different websites, Google Classroom helps to bring all of these services together in one easy-to-navigate place.

This 25 minute training session covers many of the basics that you'll need to know about how to access and use Google Classroom at home, including navigating through the website, finding materials and assignments, seeing upcoming work for all of your classes in one place. This session also explores some sample assignments and the tools you'll need to complete them in Google Docs and Slides.

The Video Platforms
The Video Platforms
There are two video platforms being used in MSAD 52: Zoom and Google Meet. You will need to check with your child's teacher on what platform they are using for their class. Both apps are accessible on your child's Chromebook and will open automatically when following a link provided by your child's teacher.
Your child's teacher should be able to provide you with the links to access the video chats for their class. Following those links should bring you directly to the video chat for the class without needing to manually add session IDs or passcodes.
