Overview:
In Introduction to Theater, students will work on verbal and non verbal communication skills, make strong connections with their classmates, develop a productive culture for giving and receiving feedback, and build overall confidence while engaging in creative play. The class meets for approximately ten weeks, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday in a combination of 40 and 80 minute blocks. Students will be assessed in a variety of ways including participation, written journal entries, feedback protocols, workshop rehearsals, and a combination of drafted/performance assignments.
