The CAP is an exam for junior high school students in Taiwan. It is an exam for local students before going to high school or vocational school, for students, teachers, schools, and parents get to know the students' learning quality. It consists of Chinese Language (writing and reading assessment), English (reading and listening assessment), Mathematics , Natural Science (Including: Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Science of Earth) and Social Studies (Including: Geography, History, Personal and Social Study, Politics, Laws, Economics and International Studies)
Students completing the CAP exam will fill out the application form for high school admission. Then the Admission System will place students based on students' CAP exam results and their order of school intentions.
Following the above application procedures, students admitted to Xisong are eligible to take the inschool gifted education identificaiton if they are interested in entering the English Honors Program.
