Special Selection Examination (特色招生)

This Special Selection (SS) examination is held after the Comprehensive Assessment Program (CAP) exam results are released. Students meeting prerequisites, which are stated below, can register for the SS exam. Xisong sets 2 subjects for the screening exam:

1. Text Analysis (80 mins)

2. Data Reading and Analysis (80 mins)

Prerequisites (招生門檻)

Xisong, as a government-funded school, complies with CAP examination, and meet the following requirement on the CAP exam.  

Either 

English subject: A++, and Chinese Writing mark 3 above

or 

English subject: A+, and Mathematics subject: A, and Chinese Writing mark 3 above

With the above results, students can register for Xisong's IBDP SS examination.

Application Form (志願卡)

Students completing the SS exam should put Xisong's IBDP as their 1st choice when they fill out the application form for high school admission. This will ensure that students are guaranteed to be admitted to Xisong's IBDP if they perform good enough on SS exam.

Please note that there are 2 steps of filing this application. First of all, interested students have to fill in an online form on designated dates (make sure you make Xisong IBDP as the first choice!!). Print out the form and then file the printed hard-copy.
