ASEP (Asian Student Exchange Program Since 2002 (Inbound)

This year, the Asian Student Exchange Program (ASEP) focused on the theme "NET ZERO Green Lifestyle." In collaboration with Fukui Commercial High School, five Japanese students and five Taiwanese students from our school worked together on this project.
World Youth Meeting Since 2002 (Outbound)
Sanmin Vocational High School has been participating in the World Youth Meeting (WYM) for over 20 years. Each summer, we select a group of outstanding students to travel to Japan and join the WYM. Our students stay with local host families, providing them with an authentic way to experience Japanese culture and customs. They also participate in various activities and competitions with students from our Japanese sister schools. This allows our students to gain a deeper understanding of the Japanese language and culture, fostering long-lasting friendships between both sides.

In the winter of 2024, we were delighted to welcome teachers and students from Okinawa Shogaku High School to our school for an international exchange. During the visit, Japanese students attended classes, experienced our vocational skill courses, and participated in cultural exchange activities introducing both Japanese and Taiwanese traditions. They also stayed with host families, allowing for deeper cultural immersion.

International Culture Exchange Club (Previously known as AJET Club and as ICE now) since 2002
The International Culture Exchange Club at Sanmin Vocational High School is dedicated to helping our students develop global citizenship, broaden their international perspectives, and foster exchanges between sister schools and both internal and external communities. This initiative aims to enhance cultural literacy, establish international friendships, create a friendly environment, and promote the beauty of Taiwan.
