The Google Slide deck on the left showcases the steps we have taken as a district to ensure that teachers are prepared with practical, relevant and timely professional development before students show up to their classrooms with Chromebooks in the Fall of 2018.
Trainings will take place in the Spring of 2018 on all Early Dismissal days at the Junior High and High School and will be taught by fellow teacher leaders. These trainings will center around Google Apps for Education, our chosen Learning Management System. We will also be offering some school-level appropriate sessions for taking teachers beyond these apps and show them what else they might do to inspire students and enrich their instruction.
