There are many ways you can challenge yourself using online resources. I will list some ideas below and will also post a puzzle weekly at the bottom of the page. Please share with me any extra activities you do through email, our zoom chats or on our Google Worksheets. Also feel free to share with me any puzzles, challenge problems or resources you think I should share on here.

It is a great site filled with video tutorials and practice for free. Feel free to challenge yourself, work ahead or go back do review of any concepts you found difficult. You can search different lessons in the search bar or continue through lessons and activities. Keep in mind the grade level might not reflect the curriculum here so don't be shy to do higher or lower grades.

Is very similar to Khan Academy. There are many practice activities you can go through at your own pace for free (but unfortunately they limit how many questions you can do daily without a membership to 10). I will sometimes assign practice work on here. You wont be required to sign in or have an account when I do.

This is a 150 year-old problem!

Three men check into a hotel. The cost of the room is $30. They pay $10 each and check in. The manager discovers that he overcharged them because the cost of the room is actually only $25. The manager gives the bellboy 5 loonies and tells him to return the money to the men. The Bell boy puts two loonies in his pocket and gives the men back one dollar each. Now each man has paid $9 and the bellboy has two. That adds up to $29. Where is the missing dollar?
