Welcome Back!

Hope this finds you rested and healthy. I am excited to start learning with you all as we convert to online class work.

You will notice different tabs in the menu that will take you to whichever course you have with me. For example if you are in Math 9 click on the "Math 9" tab. Here you will find pages that contain your weekly assignments. Each week you can work through the assignments at your own pace. You can finish them all one day if you would like or spread it out over the week; but to make sure you don't fall behind make sure you complete each week before the next week starts!

Some of these might include links to other resources and sites. If you need help creating log in's or accessing any of these sites click on the "Help Accessing Resources" tab where I have included step by step instructions for accessing the different resources we will use.

If you still can't access a resource or are finding the work too difficult or overwhelming it is important that you let me know at jessica_garneau@sd42.ca I can either help you through the assignments or make modifications. The goal here is to do your best and keep you practicing math to prepare for next year. It is going to be a learning experience for all of us involved.

I will also be available on Zoom to video conference and answer your questions. You can email me if you want to speak on Zoom or you can sign on to the open meeting room most school days between 12pm and 12:30 pm (with the option to stay on longer if needed). Feel free to sign on even if you just want to say "Hi". See the "Help Accessing Resources" Tab for more information about Zoom.

If you ever feel like you need a challenge please visit the "Extra Resources" tab. Here I have some extra resources for you to learn with and will also post a weekly challenge problem. There will also be a district wide numeracy challenge on this page.
