Creating With Canva (Course #34742) (Session 1)
Impress yourself and others with Canva creations. Canva is a graphic design platform, used to create social media graphics, presentations, posters, documents and other visual content. We will explore how to edit templates and start from a blank slate.
Creating With Canva "A Step Beyond" (Course #34972) (Session 2)
Already a Canva user? Come learn about some of the lesser known apps and tools that Canva has to offer to make really great designs. Editing Photos, Generating QR Codes, Editing PDFs, Creating Custom Brand Kits, and More! There are so many great features to look at.
Google Updates & More (Course #34965) (Session 1)
As we know, Google is famous for updates and improvements. If you haven't taken the time to check-out the updates in the various Google Applications -- this session is for you. We will explore how to get notifications when a Google Doc has been edited, how to use the Smart Chips and other collaborative features.
Google Sheets with Add-Ons (Course #34017) (Session 2)
Looking for ways to maximize the way you use Google Spreadsheets? Come to this session to learn about Google Spreadsheets and some helpful Add-Ons to increase productivity and efficiency. Some basic knowledge of working in Google Spreadsheets will be helpful for this session.
Synergy SIS Query 101 (Course #34610) (Session 2) This session is for secretaries only.
This session will walk through the fundamentals of creating a simple query search in Synergy. The process will start with using the “find” feature for simple queries and move on to taking those results into the more advanced Query options. Participants will also learn to create their own reports by constructing and modifying a Query.
Synergy Enrollment Adjustments & ParentVUE Access (Course #35219) (Session 3) This session is for enrollment secretaries
This session will walk through various enrollment scenarios using a recently updated tool to determine the necessary steps to adjust student enrollment. We will also discuss how to assist parents with gaining access to their ParentVUE account.
Tech Playground (Course #34964) (Session 3)
This course will allow participants a chance to learn and apply various Google tools, Canva Tools and other apps you may use in your role within MPS. All participants will be able to work on projects from their building or practice the techniques from a previous class.
