Hello, Wildcats! I am so excited to meet all of you! My name is Jill Hohmann and I am brand new to the area!
I graduated from Clarke University in Dubuque, Iowa. Dubuque is located on the other side of Iowa, right on the bluffs of the Mississippi River. I was born, raised and started my own family all in Dubuque. My only daughter relocated to Gretna to start her life with her fiance', so I decided to follow with the hopes of being closer to possible grandchildren. I love spending time with family and friends. My hobbies are reading, listening to music, crafts and DIY projects. I am also a coffee (hot or iced) lover!
I have my Masters in Education with an Instructional Curriculum and Design emphasis, my Bachelor's with a Reading Endorsement and Middle School Endorsement, and an English minor. I have been teaching for more than 30 years. My teaching experience has been varied, including all grades (except K) Preschool - 8th grade, a student support coach, reading and math interventionist, and technology coach.
I am very excited to explore Omaha. The Millard community has been so welcoming; especially Wheeler! I know we will have a wonderful year together and one I will never forget!
Ms. Hohmann
