6th grade science classes came down to the Innovation Center to use the ClassVR goggles. We looked at a VR experience called "Extreme weather" In this experience students start on a front porch, each door they go through takes them to a different natural disaster, they experience the natural disaster through the VR. Things like earthquakes, floods, tornadoes and hurricanes. The students then used this experience to plan how they would escape/survive the natural disaster.
Students were creating their own ideal vacation and managing their budget in math class, so the Spanish teacher created an experience for the students that included some of the countries and vacation experiences (scuba diving, hot air balloon ride) the students were interested in for their vacations. The students were viewing the experiences and pointing out things they recognized in Spanish. You can hear a bit in this clip.
