Our council loved going to the State Conference at Buena High School this year! The twelve council members that went were able to learn about leadership and all of its many aspects.

Mesa Mayor's Hacktivate
Hacktivate is a student think-tank hosted by the city of Mesa. Student council's five representatives gave a 10 minute presentation about the effects of mental health, to a group of officials and judges.

The 2019 Spirit Conference at Westwood High School was one of our favorites. We met so many new people and learned many things from motivational speakers, musicians, and more.

On Wednesday December 9, student council had their yearly leadership retreat. As a council we participated in bonding activities to help us become closer as a council. We also did exercises that will help us make quick decisions, reach compromises, and work together as a team.
