EVIDENCE OF SUPPORTING/RECOGNIZING SCHOOL STAFF:
Teacher of The Month Videos
A new tradition we were able to start this year was a teacher of the month video hosted by our Vice
President, Maddie Boyer. Every month, Maddie and our school's media team, RMTV, collaborate in a video
highlighting teachers and students of the month. This video is then posted for the community to see
through social media and email.

Welcome Back 2020 Video
At the beginning of this year our council struggled to figure out how to make a difference in the school while being virtual. Luckily we came up with the idea of a welcome back video. Our council scripted, collected the clips, and edited the entire production. In this, we coordinated with fall sports to create a video that boosted hope and positivity within our school.
To show our support for our school’s fall sports we visited them and gave them a small sentiment of our gratitude. For cheer, we decorated a huge poster saying “We love you cheer! Good luck!” The cheer team works so hard learning harsh routines that they use to show spirit on the track during football games. It's important that we show them how much they mean to our school and how much they uplift the spirits of the football team. For girls volleyball, we wrote a happy gram for each girl on the team. The team works very hard to learn and practice the position they play. It takes a lot of heart and stamina to keep the ball in the air and we really admire their hard work. For sports med, we gave them each a daisy flower. Sports med holds a big job on all of our schools sports teams. They work hard to learn about the human body and how they can apply it to helping any athlete that is hurt during a game. Without them, all of the sports teams wouldn’t have the care that they offer. For Boy's Golf, we gave a shoutout to them on our Instagram for placing 10th at state. Placing state is a big milestone for anybody on a sports team. We are all proud of them and what they have accomplished. For Swim and Dive, we made a good luck poster and gave each member a small rubber duckie. We wished them a good luck for their Mesa City Championship meet. The rubber duckie serves as a reminder that we are proud of them and that we wish them a wonderful season.
Every month, our student body vice president, Madelyn Boyer, collaborates with our school's media team to feature a student that is exceeding academically. We feature the student on all of our socials and we feel that it serves as a constant reminder that we acknowledge what the students at Red Mountain do and accomplish. By featuring the student we hope to encourage other people to strive and do their best.
