GRADING SYSTEM:
PROJECTS: 60% -Rubric for each assignment which includes a section on daily participation & Art Journal Pages
CLASSWORK: 30% -Exercises, In-progress work, daily warms ups
ACTIVITIES: 10% -Notes, planning, research
In the classroom, I AM RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Sketchbooks: daily focus activities, notes, research, planning, drafts, exercises, and art journal pages
Projects: Bigger exercises we work on every day during studio time for a final product.
Digital Art Portfolios: Digital slideshow presentation where I keep all of my PROJECTS and I include an artist statement, artist caption, and a picture of my work
Physical Portfolio: This is where I keep my sketchbook and my assignments. I may also use the portfolio for any material that I need to hang onto (palette with a lid or certain colored pencils).
My Personal Work Station and Materials. I must clean off my table and put all materials where I found them.
How to Upload Artwork to Classroom and Digital Art Portfolios:
Upload into Google Classroom
Computer:
Take a photo on the camera app
Go to Google Classroom
Hit Add or Attach
Click File
Click Browse
Go to Pictures
It will load automatically when you click the picture. Hit submit or turn in.
Phone:
Get the google classroom app
Go to the assignment
Hit Add or Attach
Go to camera
Take photo
It will load automatically
Hit submit or turn in.
Upload into Digital Art Portfolio
Computer:
Go to slides
Hit insert
Click image
Click Upload from computer
Click Pictures
Once it is uploaded on the page CROP it!
Phone:
Get the slides app on your phone
Click new slide
Click the + sign at the top
Click insert from camera
Take photo
It will load automatically
