Welcome to the Wonderful World of Art Making!  

Thank you so much for taking this course!  You will be introduced to a variety of methods, techniques, and genres of art that will improve your accuracy and speed with representational and non-representational art.  You will be provided with the necessary skills, media, and art-based knowledge that will help you make informed decisions and carefully orchestrate plans concerning your art. As you gain comfort in observing your world artistically and mindfully you will open a door to focused attention and that can have a positive influence on  your emotional wellness and overall mood.  Most of all, what I hope you gather from this course, is that we are a family in my classroom.  You will be treated with respect and care and celebrated for your individual strengths.
