Southwest Schedule Error Policy
Student schedule change requests will be considered on an individual basis.
The last day to request a schedule change is the first Friday at 3pm after the start of the school year.
Please email your counselor with your schedule error or meet with them in the Cafeteria during your lunch the first week of school.
Acceptable Error Examples:
I am placed in the wrong level class
I am missing a core class (English, Social Studies, Math, Science)
I need a required class for my program/graduation
I have 2 of the same classes scheduled (i.e 2 English classes)
There is a gap in my schedule (missing a class period)
Unacceptable schedule change request:
Requesting a different elective
I want a different hour/teacher/lunch period
I want to be with a friend
I selected it on my course selection sheet in the spring, but I’ve changed my mind
