SWHS Counseling Department

WELCOME!

SWHS Counseling Department Mission and Vision

Mission: The SWHS Counseling Department mission is to provide a comprehensive, developmental school counseling program addressing the academic, career-post secondary, and social/emotional development of all students.

Vision: All students have access to, and are prepared with, the knowledge and skills to contribute as productive members of society.

Our work: With the support of the AchieveMpls Career & College Center (CCC) Coordinators, SWHS Counselors implement appropriate programming to assist students in career and college preparation and readiness. Licensed School Counselors work with all stakeholders, including students, parents, teachers, administration, and the community, to meet the diverse needs of our population.
