What is the MN Dream Act?

The MN Dream Act is a state law that provides benefits to Minnesota residents regardless of federal immigration status. Eligible non-US citizens are able to apply for and receive state financial aid.

How do I apply to the MN Dream Act?

Class of 2026, make sure to file your 2026-2027 MN Dream Act application to receive state and institutional financial aid. To file a MN Dream Act application, students and parents are required to report their 2024 income and tax information.
