Overview:
This course focuses on the connection between nutritious food and our overall well-being. Students will prepare and try a variety of healthy foods. The way in which different foods affect physical and mental health will also be explored. Current nutrition issues, future health trends, and food safety will be discussed. The goal is to understand how nutrition affects mental and physical well-being, as well as create an awareness of tasty and healthy foods that students can cook for themselves.
