2025-2026 PART-TIME ENROLLMENT
NOTE FOR 2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR: MPS ONLINE HAS LIMITED SEATS TO OFFER PART-TIME STUDENTS IN 2025-2026; IF CLASSES REACH CAPACITY, STUEDNTS WILL BE PLACED ON A WAITLIST AND NOTIFIED WITHIN ONE WEEK OF QUARTER IF THEY ARE MOVED OFF THE WAITLIST OR NOT.
REGISTRATION REQUEST WINDOW FOR Q3 HAS CLOSED AS OF 4PM TUESDAY, JAN. 27TH, 2026.
NO LATE REGSITRATIONS ARE ACCEPTED.
APPROVED Q3 STUDENTS: received an email from MPSOnline@mpls.k12.mn.us with confirmation/orientation instructions and should begin their classes NOW.
WAITLISTED Q3 STUDENTS: received an email from MPSOnline@mpls.k12.mn.us with confirmation of their waitlist spot, updated emails will be sent out on Friday, Jan. 20th before 3PM with an update.
Note that due to limited space, part-time seats in Semester 2/Q3 are NOT guaranteed.
Enrollment forms are submitted as requests an fulfilled based on space in each class; MPS Online does not provide students or families with amount of seats in each class or on the waitlist.
Part-time seats are given in order of seniority, time of registration, and/or by school site.

Monday, August 25th, 2025 - Thursday, September 4th, 2025
Quarter 2 Classes (if space, enrollment window not guaranteed to open)
Monday, October 27th, 2025 - Friday, October 31st, 2025
Quarter 3/Semester 2 Classes
Tuesday, January 20th, 2026 - Tuesday, January 27th, 2026
Quarter 4 Classes (if space, enrollment window not guaranteed to open)
Monday, March 23rd, 2026 - Thursday, March 26th, 2026
Students request enrollment by completing an online form, link will be posted at the top of this webpage when enrollment windows open. MPS Online part-time enrollments CANNOT be processed via MPS Student Placement, email, phone, or by their in-person counselor.
Students are alerted of their acceptance, waitlist, or denial via email on the first day of the quarter or date stated by MPS Online staff.
