Second Prototype

Description

The second prototype had a few changes from the original prototype. The greatest change was the decision to use a larger stainless steal vacuum sealed body without the ABS Filament Cap. This greatly increased the R value of our container which allowed us to sustain the desired temp for a longer period of time. We also created a new structural lining to hold both the NARCAN and the needles.

How It Works

As temperature drops with the vacuum sealed container the PureTemp will become frozen. The temperature sensor records the temperature and sends it to the arduino. Once below 60 ^o the arduino turns on the relay which sends 9v to the carbon heating tape. The heat tape heats up and melts the Puretemp allowing the vacuum sealed container to keep the temperature above 60 ^o for a longer period of time.
