In order to make Thermocan more portable, we would make it small enough to fit in a pocket. We would also try to make it as light as possible while still maintaining the waterproof constraint. We would do this by making the canister itself smaller and the electronics are more compact.
To make Thermocan more affordable we would buy everything in bulk, and mass produce it. The first prototype is the most expensive because of all the parts we broke or moved on from.
To help increase the temperature controlled timeline we can take a few steps. We could surround the Thermocan in a high r-value insulator. Currently we don't have access/funds to be able to add this to our project. We also could further improve our sleep code to make our device more efficient.
We had many trials and error with the first couple prototypes but in the end we would change the dimensions and make it more user friendly. Meaning no access to the electronics at all.
