I've Finished, What's Next?
Once you complete your FASFA application, a Student Aid Report (SAR) will be transmitted electronically to each college that were listed on their FAFSA. Colleges may begin providing "award letters" outlining what funding is available as soon as January or February. The awarded amounts may differ from school to school. If you are considering multiple colleges, compare the final costs after your awards to help make a decision about which school is going to be best for you and your financial situation.
