About me
This is my 20th year teaching at Mount Vernon Christian high school and love the opportunity to be a part of the lives of young people. I especially enjoy challenging them (and myself) to consider how we can actively live out the Micah 6:8 scripture in our lives.

2023-2024 - Here we come!
Here are a few protocols to keep in mind for the classes we will have together:
personal earbuds are only to be used with teacher permission. Students will often be listening to audible texts or teaching videos during class, in which case we will be using class sets of headphones only.
absences interrupt your learning! Please contact your instructor as soon as possible when absent if you have any uncertainty about what you are missing. Make use of the provided calendars and Google Classroom first so you can have any questions ready. If you are absent due to illness for more than two days, please fill out the "Unplanned Absence" form (bottom right) after consulting with instructor. Give completed form to instructor on your return. If you know you will be absent ahead of time, in addition to the office form, you will need to fill out a "Planned Absence" form (bottom right) before I will sign your office form. This ensures that you know what you are missing and make plans to get the work done in a reasonable time.
