Final Self Directing Project Reflection:

This project made me realize my strengths and weaknesses when it comes to working independently and being self motivated. When I think back to completing this work most of the thoughts that come to me are positive because I am very happy that I was able to finish this project and I finished it using work that I would call perfect. I did not think that I was going to finish this project about two months into it but I'm very happy that I did. I realized that I am very good at doing my work if it is given to me but I struggle with work that I am doing completely on my own. Some of the most challenging moments in this project were when I couldn't find the correct fabric for my project or when I did not have time to get more fabric. I learned that if I put my mind to something I can do it but if I procrastinate then I will have a harder time getting it done in the long run. I think that my biggest area of improvement was overcoming my procrastination. I think that my greatest strength is how the final product ended up. In the future, I will use better time management skills and better pattern creation. In the end when I finally finished my project the way I wanted it to look in the end without downscaling I was very happy. in the future I will make sure that I time manage and stay on top of my work at all times in school and everyday life.
