This year our lens is impact. For me, impact means changing something in a positive way and by having an effect on something or someone. I usually don't like to be noticed or have affects, but for my last year of middle school I want to show my school that I have learned a lot from them and that I am committed to doing my best. I plan to do this by doing my best with my grades and trying extra hard in class. I can do this by paying attention to my teachers, taking notes, making a homework schedule, and getting help when I need it.
I scored mid 8th, specifically 654, in Reading. This means I am mostly at a Grade 8 level in reading for the beginning of the year. I scored the highest in phonics and high frequency words (surpassed level), and the lowest in my vocabulary, literature, and informational text (mid 8th). By the end of the year i-Ready test, I want to score in the beginning 9th grade level. I will do this by using AI as a tutor to do extra work to help improve my understanding and by reading more books.
My overall grade level and score was Early 8, specifically 538. This means I was beginning 8th grade level math. I scored the lowest in number and operations and in geometry (early 8th) and the highest in algebra and algebraic thinking and in measurements and data (mid 8th). By the end of the year i-Ready test, I want to score in the beginning 9th grade level. I will do this by getting a tutor and doing all my work and taking notes.
I plan to work extra hard this year by getting help from others, taking feedback, doing my homework, and by being the best student I can for myself and others.
