Math

In math, we are learning about area and surface area. My goal in math is to get better at algebra. I will achieve it by focusing in class and I can do algebra IXLs at home and at the beginning of math class. I can remind myself by writing it down on a sticky note at the beginning of the week.

Unit 1: Area and Surface Area Reflection

Some things we learned in this unit are how to decompose shapes and find a shapes area including two and three dimensional shapes.

Unit 2: Ratios, rates, and Percentages

In this unit we are learning how a ratio is a relationship between types of quantities and we will be learning the difference between rates, ratios ,and proportions.

Unit 1 Assessment

I think I could have done a little better on the unit 1 test

Next time I will not rush like I did this time and I will make sure to check my work when i'm done with it.

I think I did a better job refining my work when I redid it and I put in more effort without rushing.

Unit 2 Exit Ticket

I think I did a pretty good job with the unit two exit ticket

Next time I could try to stay on task better and focus.

I think I did a good job with refinement because I checked my work and made sure it was the best I could do.

Unit two assessment

I think that I put in a lot of effort in this test and tried my hardest but I still think I could have maybe tried to get more done faster then I did.

Next time I can try to not get distracted and focus.

Unit 5 reflection

I did not do very well on this test because It was really hard and it didn't make sense to me.

Next time I will try to study more so I can understand the topic which was proportional relationships.

I think I did a good job with integrity because I made sure not to look at other peoples tests and do my own work. I also did a good job with effort because I tried really hard even though I didn't get a great grade.
