Silk Roads Project Reflection
The 4th and final project of the year was all about the Silk Roads. I am proud of sticking through the unit on the Silk Roads. This unit was hard for me to persevere because of my busy schedule outside of school and all the homework we had. I'm glad I was able to find a system that worked for me that helped me succeed in this project. Add a sentence about the system that worked. In the future, I could use the geography aspect and to see the world in a different perspective. In my future learning, I can work on my attitude towards assignments. I don't think I did the best on the project because of the work. I wish I could go back and tell myself that you're going to need to do it no matter what and just work hard to get it done. We learned a lot about trade, culture, and connection throughout the silk roads project and learned a lot about our regions empires and how they lived. Overall, I did great on the learning aspect of this unit, but I could be better if I were to do a unit like this ever again.
Humanities Refection questions
What are you proud of and why?
I am most proud of my annotation skills and reading because I have gotten so much better compared to last year when I was struggling.
Which part of the unit did you struggle with and why?
I struggled with my BCB because I did not like the book and it was hard to push through and read it and try to finish it.
What is something you could have improved upon this semester? (Think habits, practices, or skills) I could have improved my integrity because I was not very positive with my attitude with assignments and with my friends leaving the school but I think I'm improving in this.
I did alright on my mid year diagnostic but I did improve in most categories except vocab.
