The "math brain" is the idea that you're either born good at math or you're not.Which is not true anyone can be good at math with practice, good teaching, and the right mindset. Messing up in math helps your brain learn what went wrong so you can fix it and get smarter.Personally math feels really tricky sometimes but its cool when you figure stuff out and it finally makes sense. I think I can get better at math this year by practicing a lil bit every day, asking for help when I'm stuck, and reminding myself that mistakes mean I'm learning!!
I think that i did pretty well on this quiz it came easy to me after i tried in class. This quiz was mainly about translations, rotations, and reflections.Personally if i had to make a goal to be successful in this math class i would say keep learning about the process then it will just click in my brain. On this quiz i got an excess (5/5)!!
I think that i did okay on this quiz I don't think i understand the formula completely.. This quiz was about geometry but we were learning about how to move the shapes with the whole process. If i had to set a goal to be successful in this math class i would say to study the process and be focused the entire time. I got an approaching on this quiz (3/5).
This assessment was all about angles, and geometry. I got an approaching because i don't think i put my all into the test but some of the problems didn't click in my head but some of them did. For my grade in the work book i also got an approaching and the reasoning was because some of the activities were missing. If i had to set a goal for the next assessment i would say learn the formula a little better so that it ALL clicks in my head, and for my workbook i would say alwasys compleate the activitys in the book.
For this i ready diagnostic i got a 483 which means that i was in grade 6th at the beginning of the year. In this i had a 39th percentile national norm. For the subjects that i scored in i scored highest in geometry which i got 7th grade in but i scoured the lowest in number and operations which I scored in 5th grade. By the end of this year i would like to at least get grade level math and i will do this by absorbing all the math information that is getting taught during class.
This test was about line segments, triangles, angles and more. For this test i got an approaching, because i got most of the answers right i either just didn't get the full question right or i missed something. For the workbook i got a meets, i think i got a meets because i did all that was assigned in the book and was caught up. If i had to set a goal for next unit i would say i want to keep getting good grades on the work book and always doing what i'm supposed to and make sure i get the full formula in my head for the quiz.
This test was all about finding x and y.
This quiz was all about 2 step equations. I got a meets because i got 12/14 questions correct. If i had to make a goal for the next quiz i would say take more time and refine my answers at the end.
On this assignment I got an approaching. I got an approaching because i didn't have time to finish and i think i could have focused more and got it done.
this quiz was all about graphs, and how many solutions a graph has. for this quiz i got 3/5 question correct. I this if i took my time and didn't rush i would have gotten 5/5 questions correct. for the next math quiz a goal for me is to take my time and put thought into every question.
