My goal for science is when we are doing a group project, don't mess with the doc by writing funny off task things. How I will accomplish this is by ingraining in my head not to do that.
When we did the rock cycle virtual lab, I learned a ton from it. So when we did it, the way it worked was if you got a question right, you got a little piece of a pixelated shrimp, and if you got a question wrong, the piece was erased. I got about 7/8 of the questions right. what I learned from this was all the types of rock types, including igneous, sedimentary, and metamorphic. This is how sedimentary rock is made. So as erosion happens, layers and layers of rock get built on one another, and while this happens, the bottom layers get compressed, making sedimentary rock. How metamorphic rocks are made is if rocks are exposed to high temperatures and pressure, it turns into a rock such as marble. How igneous rock is made is from the cooling of lava, to make a rock like obsidian.
I did a slideshow about plate tectonics and everything that they can do. For example, I learned that tectonic plates move because of the mantle. I also learned that earthquakes happen at transforming plate boundaries.
Exhibition went pretty well, with my average grade of a meets. the habit of heart in mind that I used for this assignment was Integrity because in the first semester I didn't use Integrity and played computer games all of the time but now I don't have influential friends who encourage me to do bad stuff.
I thought this exhibition has alright, but I didn't really think it was fair because I got put in a group with someone that I had issues with in the past, and she fat-shamed me and we got into a fight. Onto the actual exhibition, we got an approaching for our model and research because our model had some cardboard spots that weren't painted. we got an approaching on our research because we didn't incorporate it in our model. I used effort in this model because even though we were on a tight turn in date, I managed to get my portion of the work done, and it turned out pretty well.
For this exhibition, he basically let us choose our topic (Vincent was my partner). My topic was the better alternative to slash and burn. We named it moo and slash and it turned out really well. me and Vincent usually don't work well together but we did this time. for group work, I think I was helpful the most because even though I was sick for a few days and Vincent started the slideshow, but when I was sick at home I helped a lot with it so when I came back, I was all caught up.
