Waves Quiz #1: I got a 7/9 on this quiz, which isn't that good. I am pretty disappointed about this, but it shows me that there is always room to grow and improve, and my goal for the next quiz is to get a meets on it.
This anchor chart was about reflecting what we had learned in each science class for this unit. This anchor chart was also about light and sound waves, color, and things like that. I got a meets on my anchor chart, and I hope on the next anchor chart I can also get a meets if I keep putting in the effort to fill it out each science class.
I got a meets on this exhibition. The 3 parts we were graded on were the scientific content, the decorative artifact design, and the group work contribution. I got a meets on all of these.
This exhibition was about portraying our knowledge about light and sound waves through informative clues in an escape room. This exhibtion was pretty challenging to prep for. The players in our game felt like the escape room’s ambiance and decorations were really cool. Another thing that went well for them was that the clues and puzzles were really fun to solve. One last thing that went well for them was that they had fun working together. A challenging part for the players in our game was finding out what to do for really hard puzzles. Another challenge was hearing the audio for videos. One last challenge they had was talking to each other. The players in our escape room said that they retained a lot of information. They said that after reading the articles that we made, they took in a lot of knowledge about this topic. Overall, they learned a lot about this topic through this exhibition. Our players thought that the escape room was very immersive and the decorative artifacts and the mood. The creative artifacts definitely enhanced the room, and I feel like there were just enough decorations to make it cool. Overall, the players thought the escape room was very cool. Some things I would do differently is I would give the players a little less hints, because I feel like we were helping them a lot throughout the escape room, and it would be more challenging for them if we didn’t. I would also not procrastinate on my clues and puzzles as much. One last thing I would do differently is not procrastinate on my artifacts. Lastly, I feel like my group worked really well together. We communicated with the group members that were gone and helped them with what to do. We also were pretty close so it was easy for us to work together.
