Quiz #1: This quiz was really easy for me, and I got 100%. I think it was easy for me because chemistry is fairly easy for me right now, and I know how to do it. A goal for me in the future for these quizzes is to keep paying attention and make sure I know the subject.
Quiz #2: This quiz was much harder than the last one, because we just started learning about chemistry equations which is a bit hard for me. I got a 6/8 on this quiz because I kind of understood the topic. A goal for the future for future quizzes is to make sure I know the topic better.
On this test, I got a meets, or a 32/37. I am very proud that I got a meets because I'm not that good at chemistry, and I studied for this test. This test was about all we have been learning about in chemistry, such as chemistry equations, reactions, anatomy of an atom, ionic and covalent bonds, etc. A goal I can set for the next test is to get an even better grade like an exceeds.
This exhibition was about doing a bunch of Chemical reactions to demonstrate our learning so far in chemistry. I got a meets plus on this exhibition, because I got a mix of meets and exceeds. Most of the reactions contained fire, dangerous fumes, and minor explosions, so it was really fun to work with. We were paired in groups of 3-4 people, each group assigned a different reaction, and made a poster, scripts, and put a lot of research into this. My reaction was the gummy bear sacrifice, and it was where you drop a gummy bear into a test tube full of molten potassium chlorate, and it makes a cool fire explosion. Overall, this Exhibition was really amazing, and it was fun seeing all of the different reactions.
This poster is about all of the information behind our exhibition topic, and mine was gummy bear sacrifice. The gummy bear reacts with the molten potassium chlorate and creates a fire explosion.
