There were multiple different myths of the math brain and different stereotypes on math people. ma takes are what make us humans, mistakes offer opportunities for deeper understanding, they build resilience, and help you grow both academically and personally, they help you know that your learning and that you don't know everything. It is okay to make mistakes in all classes but mostly math because its normal and valuable part of the learning process. Everyone faces complex new topics which are designed to challenge your thinking. Seeing mistakes as opportunities for growth rather than signs of failure as it is a key part of developing a "growth mindset" that will help other succeed in high school and beyond. I feel 'ok' about math right now as I have never been good at it because I can hardly focus and I get board. The classes are fun when there interactive and not that hard. I have mostly been paying attention as I have been trying harder and getting my homework in time. My math mind set is not that good as I hate math but this year I'm going to try and improve it by embracing mistakes as learning opportunities, and practicing effectively at home and in class
