Habits of Heart and Mind reflection

Respect-

My goals for respect: Raising my hand before speaking and not talking back to the teachers

This is what I commit to doing that will contribute to me accomplishing

my goal for Respect...

Respecting my teachers and my peers and being more kind to the people around me.

Others will know I'm actually doing it when they see me...

Not giving others attitude and being kind to me, my teachers by not talking back, and being kind to others such like my class mates

The difference it will make is...

People will be kinder to me and my teachers wont hate me

My goal for Integrity is:

Being respectful in the hallways and not talking in class

This is what I commit to doing that will contribute to me accomplishing my goal for Integrity...

Not talking in class and actually doing my work

Others will know I'm actually doing it when they see me...

When im not talking to my friends in class and doing my work in class instead of getting distracted

The difference it will make is...

not having so much homework at home and not having a bunch of missing assignments

My goal for Effort is:

Getting my homework in on time and putting more effort into it

This is what I commit to doing that will contribute to me accomplishing my goal for Effort...

working harder in class and putting more effort into going above and beyond and turning my work in early

Others will know I'm actually doing it when they see me...

doing my work in class and not having as many missing assignments

The difference it will make is...

not having missing

assignments and getting to do more in class due to not being behind.

My goal for refinement:

going back over my work to make share I checked everything and to change something if I got it wrong

This is what I commit to doing that will contribute to me accomplishing my goal for Refinement….

Trying harder on homework assignments and putting more effort into them to get a higher grade

Others will know I'm actually doing it when they see me...
going back on homework and checking my answers so i get the work right and a higher grade

The difference it will make is...

getting a higher grade which can help me in the future such as SLC, POL, and TPOL
