Math

The end-of-unit assessment was about congruent shapes and rigid transformations such as translation, rotation, and reflection. On the test i didn't do so good as i got a 9.4/14 which is also known as an approaching. I feel i got this grade because some of the words i didn't know and it was mostly on mutichocie answers that some i guessed on. On my workbook grade got a meets because i did what was required in class and focused on the lessons to get the work done, I also think a part of this grade was from partner work when we worked in groups. I feel I did well on the workbook and payed attention so I im going to try and do that again but for the unit test im really going to try and go back on my work to check my answers and study for upcoming test to get the words i don't know and learn them.

End of unit test and work book 2:

The test was to see what you learned from that unit and what you didn't. Some of the topics were on Dilation, angle to angle similarity's and rigid transformation. I did get an approaching on the test because I didn't study because I forgot and some questions I didn't explain my answers enough which lead to confusion and a short grade. For the work book I got a meets!! The work but was all about taking lessons in the book leading up to the test. For the next book, my goals are to put in extra effort on my lessons and pay attention so I know what we have to do instead of asking my friends.

Math Quiz:

Geometry #1: The first quiz was on geometry and one my first quiz I got all the answers write which felt amazing as i have never gotten all the answers write on a math test. Something i can do to prepare myself for future tests i need to make sure i pay attention in class so i know what the test topic is about.

Geometry #2: The second quiz was also all about geometry even though i didn't do so well for a grade as i got only 3/5 and i think it because i tried to rush myself though the quiz and move on to the next thing. For the future i will set a goal to focus on the test and make sure to focus in class.

Geometry #3: The topic on the quiz was about geometry as it was are last quiz of the unit before moving on to working on the next unit. I got a 4/5 which is a meet and I feel like I did really well with little room for improvement other then focus because at the end I just guesses and I feel like that was why I got the last question wrong. A goal for the future is to try my best and stayed focus.

The math "myths" are all about stereotypes and the math brain. Many people believed that people are either born good at math or there not but math is a skill and something to be learned, your not born with the ability to talk so why do you think your born with amazing math skills. I may depend on the person but not on the race nor gender, some think a girl is bad a math because there or a female or an Asian is better at math due to there race but it something you learn and some people just try harder and learn easier. If you don't make mistakes then you will never learn because even if you get the answer right it doesn't mean you learned because you making mistakes shows that your learning

Algebra Quiz #1

The was about algebra with a bonus Halloween question at the end. I got a meets on the quiz with only 1 question wrong which was the constant of proportionality because I couldn't read the question correctly. A goal for my self is to read the question throught and go back on my answers

Algebra Quiz #2

The content on this quiz was about algebra, the y/x intercept and find the slope of a line. I got a developing on this quiz but it could have been worst, I at least got a 1/5 instead of a 0/5 so that's a plus. A goal I can set to get a better grade it to make sure and pay attention in class such as listen to the teacher and study the practice test.

Algebra Quiz #3

The content on this quiz was about algebra, systems of equations. i did get a developing on this quiz as i didn't try is class or studied at home. my goal for my next quiz is to pay attention in class and study at home to get the grade i want. I can also ask the teacher for help on assignment to help me memorize.

Unit 4 Mid-Unit Assessment

The content of this test was about what we have learn in this unit and what we need to improve on. I got a developing on the quiz i only got four answers right when there was 15 questions but the reason of is being i went to Italy and missed half the unit but i tried my best on got good grade on other things in the unit. a goal i can make for the future is to focus and not skip half the unit.

This book was on our unit of Patterns, Functions, and Algebraic Structures. i got a meet on this as it was graded on how many pages we wrote and completed, also how our work was done and if it was right. There not much i could work on other then making sure everythings done and go back to refine my work.

The Content of this quiz was our unit test on algebra and changing like term. I did get a developing on this quiz because i rushed it and was not paying attrention although im taking the test correctiongs which will bring my grade up to a meets. For the grade book i got a meet as i tried hard and showed my work. A goal i have for this unit it to pay attention in class and do my best.

Functions Quiz #1

The content of this quiz was on functions and input/output. I got a meets in this quiz as i tried my best and worked hard. A goal i can set for myself for the future is to keep on focusing in class and working hard.

Unit 5 test and work book

The content of this quiz was on functions and volume. I did get a developing on the test but i will be doing the test corrections which will bring my grade up to a meets. FOr the work book i get a meets because i tried hard and put in effort. My goal for future tests and work books it to study and put in effort.
