Take a look at the different TYPES OF PROJECTS for ideas as well as LINKS & RESOURCES for websites with tons of ideas!
Talk to people! Parents and grandparents have lots of good ideas and may be able to guide you in the right direction.
There are also many good books in the public library and ISLAND LAKE LIBRARY with ideas for projects that might interest you as well as information on the specific topic you choose.

Doing your project:
Do some research on your topic by reading, interviewing people, or even going to a museum.
Then proceed with your project by experimenting, observing, gathering data, analyzing, and drawing conclusions. (Exact steps vary with the type of project you are doing.) This is the BIG part of your project.
Plan carefully so you have enough time to complete your work and experiments.
Make a display to show what you have learned.
The display must be able to stand on its own.
You can buy a board from Mrs. Lundberg for $3, get one in a store, or make your own.
Relax -- YOU ARE READY! You are an expert on your topic and ready to share your knowledge with others! WAY TO GO!!!
Participate in the Science Fair! Follow these directions:
Before you come:
Be sure you have put your name on your project!
