Shoulder Rest (for violin & viola)

• We recommend Everest Brand shoulder rests. When shopping for a shoulder rest please be mindful that it is the correct size for your student's instrument

Rock Stop/Endpin Anchor (for cello & bass)

• Cello and bass players need a rock stop to prevent endpin slipping while playing on low-pile carpet or slippery floor surfaces. You can get one on Amazon, or the rental store you rent your student's instrument from

• Cello players also have an alternate choice for a rock stop called an endpin anchor. The strap goes on the player's chair leg and adds extra support since cellos sit at an angle. Cello players only need one or the other (rock stop or endpin anchor), not both!
