Technology Professional Development - Certificates for Faculty & Staff

Enhance Teaching & Learning with Technology! ATS is offering several new and exciting professional development opportunities this semester. Faculty can earn certificates that may be used towards their tenure dossiers! Workshops will be offered in a variety of formats including online instructor-lead, online self-paced, webinars and face to face. We'll also be starting several new learning communities that center around instructional technology!

New this semester for faculty: Finding Open Educational Resources, Using Free "Audience Response" Tools to Enhance Engagement, Using NearPod to Engage your in-class Students, and our Multimedia Series (NBC Learn, Panopto, Atomic Learning).

For staff and faculty we offer hundreds of hours of technology and soft skill development on our Atomic Learning (Hoonuit) platform.

New Printing Process for Students - Wēpa (Wireless Everywhere Print Anywhere)

Wēpa (Wireless Everywhere Print Anywhere) is a new pilot print service that will provide students with seven easy printing options on campus, including from personal and mobile devices.

All students actively enrolled beginning January 2, 2019 have received a one-time $5 print credit that expires at the end of the Spring 2019 semester. Once the $5 print credit runs out, students will have several options to pay for additional printing. These options include BEARcard funds (Retail account), PayPal, Venmo, debit card, credit card, or virtual funds loaded to a Wēpa account or print card.

Get started today! Visit www.wepanow.com to login using your Morgan credentials and link your cloud accounts. Download the Wēpa Print app to your personal and/or mobile device to manage and submit your print jobs, find the nearest Wēpa print station, view your print balance, add money to your account, and get support. As a reminder, the new per page pricing is as follows:

Black & White, Single-sided = 12¢

Black & White, Double-sided = 15¢

Color, Single-sided = 50¢

Color, Double-sided = 95¢

New Password Reset Tool - COMING THIS SPRING!

DIT will be launching a new and improved self-service password reset tool later this spring. Using the tool's multi-factor authentication feature, you will have the choice of resetting your password using a one-time authorization code sent to your mobile device, a link sent to your personal email address, or by answering improved security questions. Look for an announcement with instructions and more information in the upcoming weeks.

Online Forms - Go Paperless!

Do you have paper forms/applications that you would like converted to an electronic format? DIT provides consultation, training, and support for the development of online forms using EmailMeForm and DocuSign. Some of these tools’ features include automated email responses, Google Docs integration, electronic signatures, workflows, and much more!
