About Us

Welcome to Moorland View Care Home, where we provide exceptional care for our residents in a warm and friendly environment. Our care home is a 32-bed facility, with 16 rooms featuring excellent en-suite facilities to ensure the comfort and privacy of our residents.

At Moorland View, we understand the importance of accessibility, which is why 25 of our rooms are located on the ground floor. Our modern platform lift provides access to the 7 rooms located upstairs, ensuring that all of our residents can easily move around the care home.

We take pride in the quality of care we provide, and we are delighted that our hard work has been recognized by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), who have rated us as "good." Our staff attend annual training updates and have achieved Health and Social Care diplomas levels 1, 3 and 5, ensuring that they have the knowledge and skills to provide the highest standards of care.

We are fully staffed with an excellent housekeeping team and our chefs in the kitchen, who prepare nutritious and delicious meals for our residents. Our staff are highly praised by our residents, visitors and inspectors, and are noted for their professionalism, kindness and attentiveness.

At Moorland View Care Home, we believe that the well-being of our residents is of utmost importance. That's why we have a visiting sports therapist who visits the care home three times a week and engages residents in a therapeutic movement to music, enhancing functional abilities. The sports therapy sessions are a favourite amongst our residents and contribute to their overall happiness and well-being.
