Readiness for post-secondary training and education is critical for students' future success and ability to access career opportunities. Helping our students to become future-ready is one of our most important responsibilities. Montour School District has and will continue to dedicate all available resources toward this investment in our students’ engagement in preparation for life beyond high school. The understanding that future-ready may mean something different for each of our students, pushes us to continue to grow and maximize our capacity.

College and career-ready high school graduates must have the necessary skills, knowledge and abilities to succeed in life. Understanding the importance of this responsibility, Montour will continue to support our students and their families as they work through the many steps of post-secondary planning. Whether assisting with the completion of the common application or application for higher education financial aid, investigating a career exploration, internship or apprenticeship opportunities, Montour will engage with all stakeholders that will be a part of our student’ transition plans from high school to their future endeavors.
