Ms Jenkins: She is the best teacher in this school. Because she always supports her students and is the only teacher who believes i can change. Most teachers in monticello are mean and just give you a workbook and sit their all day with no activity or hands on learning. But ms jenkins makes learning fun, if I could I would make monticello seem more like school then a prison. Ms jenkins is the only teacher who is nice and gives fun ways to learn.
Mrs. Jenkins: Mrs. Jenkins is a awesome History teacher since i came to Monticello, my favorite class so far was history. Mrs Jenkins is willing to help others when they need it and besides she is very fun to hangout with.

Ten Tips to Survive School

1: Take part in after school activities.
You should take part in school activities so you could stay out of sight. So you can go to your house to play fortnite. And listen to travis scott. And disappoint your MOM AT HOME.
2: Use the bathroom between classes.
You should use bathrooms because you will mess yourself because you did not go to the bathroom. So you should feel BAD ABOUT YOURSELF. SO GO TO THE BATHROOM.
3: Don’t be late to classes.
Or you get in trouble. You will get a tarty. the police will come and the FBI AND THE RUSSIA DUCK WILL COME FOR YOU.
4: Leave school as fast as possible.
If you don't leave school you will not be able to fortnite. You will starve to death. YOU WILL DIE.
5: HAVE. A. PENCIL.
If you have a pencil it will interfere with the time space continuum and give you the following side effects, more happiness, not be sick all the time, not be marked tardy, and last but not least have more motivation.
6: Give the teacher gifts to make them spare you.
If you want to be spared by teachers and not be overwhelmed by the amount of stress of your peers, give them gifts to be spared by peer stress woot woot.
7: Sleep is yes.
Sleep is good for you because it helps your brain have more energy and not be tired all the time and day. And sleep is sleep so you should sleep all the time. So go and SLEEP TONIGHT.
8: Don’t bump into anyone.
If you bump into someone they’ll go AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA or something and they’re gonna get mad probably. It’s happened to me before. They might laugh at you or make fun of you.
9: Find something to motivate you
If you’ve got something to motivate you, you’ll be able to work. Nobody usually wants to work, and the teacher will tear your guts out if you’re not working. So work.
10: Always ask “ HEY YOU, YOU LOOK COOL, WHERE DID YOU GET THAT SHIRT!”
A very good school survival tip is to compliment your friends and peers. The reason why it's shirts despite everyone wearing the same kind of clothes is because it's always nice to compliment someone to increase their self esteem and motivation.

After weeks and weeks of research, teamwork, and hard work, the entirety of 7th and 8th grade created projects for National History Day. Some made websites or exhibits while others took on the difficult task of making videos or acting in performances. It was great seeing all of them, even in different stages of completion, as everyone did create a final product.

Best Friends

Friends make life exciting, though not always in a good way. Having moved all over the country throughout my life, I lost and gained friends in a way that most people don’t. When I lived near a golf course in Texas, two of my friends and I would often come up with crazy schemes and plans. It would rain very hard there, so much so that the rain would all drain into the golf cart canal that ran through our neighborhood and become a torrential river that you could raft on if you had the guts. One summer we decided to do just that and, lacking any inner tubes, decided to inflate an inflatable mattress and hop on the river. It was quite exciting until we realized, at the last second, that the canal led to a steep, twenty-foot cliff into a rocky pond. We barely hopped off in time, saving our skins and the mattress from certain doom. My friends Sascha and Chris made life there exciting and bearable.
We decided to survey students (and some teachers) about their best friends. Here are some fun findings:
Gabe from 6th grade’s best friend is Joey. Joey is kind and caring, but she has a violent nature. They usually hang out and play games. He probably wouldn’t let her steal his identity and social security number because she’s, well, violent. She’s also kind of a troll.
George’s best friend is Darey. He likes him because he's bad at typing? The craziest thing they ever did was this (wacky)! They like talking to each other! But he wont let Darey steal his social security number and assume his identity because he's an idiot and also is bad at typing? Dude George needs to be a little nicer.
Manny’s favorite friend is Jonas. He likes him because he’s funny and is also VERY SUS. He danced in front of the whole CLASS! It was very SUSSY. They like to make fun of each other.
5th Grade PJ’s best friend is Ace. They usually play Fortnite together, but he’s also very daring. He once jumped off of a cliff into water with no life jacket! He doesn’t know if he’d let Ace steal his identity, though…
Ms. Mckendrick’s best friends are Ms. Mena, Ms. Crum, Ms, Black, and Coach Allen. They are her best friends because the 3rd grade team of teachers are always organized and willing to help each other. She doesn't know what's the coolest or craziest thing they ever did. And she would probably let them steal her social security number and assume her identity because she's trusting.
George’s favorite friend is Joshua because he’s fun. He likes hockey because it's so fun. He also likes to talk and would love to give his social security number to him.
Phillip from 4th grade’s best friends are Evan and Tampson. He says they’re fun and funny. Apparently one of them chased him with a knife! They like.. Government and tag? Anyway, he wouldn’t let them steal his identity because it’s his life! Not theirs!
Rodney’s best friend is Joshua. He likes “Play Minecraft” about him. The craziest thing he ever did was “Play Minecraft”. He won’t let him steal his social security number and assume his identity because “No”.
Max's friend is Will Bird because he is good with emotions. The craziest thing Will has ever done was make a funny joke in front of Mrs. Vasquez. They usually just write nerd stuff together. He would NOT let Will steal his social security number and identity because NO just NO.
