Anoka-Ramsey Community College: Educational Technology (EDUC 2060/3cr)

Available to Juniors who have a GPA above 2.6 or rank in the top 30% of their class.

Available to Seniors with a GPA above 2.6 or with a class rank in the top 50% of their class.

Students who do not meet academic qualifications may be able to submit an appeal to enter the course. Please talk with your counselor if this applies to you.

Anoka-Ramsey Community College: Foundations of Education (EDUC 2001/4cr)

Available to Juniors who have a GPA above 2.6 or rank in the top 30% of their class.

Available to Seniors with a GPA above 2.6 or with a class rank in the top 50% of their class.

Students who do not meet academic qualifications may be able to submit an appeal to enter the course. Please talk with your counselor if this applies to you.

Available to Juniors who have a GPA above 2.6 or rank in the top 30% of their class.

Available to Juniors who have a GPA above 2.6 or rank in the top 30% of their class.

Available to Seniors with a GPA above 2.6 or with a class rank in the top 50% of their class.

Sophomores in the top 10% of their class may register for this course. Final placement based on course availability and university approval.

Anoka-Ramsey Community College: Wellness for LIfe (HPER 1120/2CR)

Available to Juniors who have a GPA above 2.6 or rank in the top 30% of their class.

Available to Seniors with a GPA above 2.6 or with a class rank in the top 50% of their class.

*This class MUST be taken concurrently with CIS Weightlifting or CIS Fitness Walking

Central Lakes Community College: Economics (Econ 1450/3cr)

Available to Juniors who have a GPA above 3.0 or rank in the top 30% of their class.

Available to Seniors with a GPA above 2.5 or with a class rank in the top 50% of their class.

Students who do not meet academic qualifications may be able to submit an appeal to enter the course. Please talk with your counselor if this applies to you.

Central Lakes Community College: Music classes (MUSC/1-3CR)

Placement by audition, to Juniors who have a GPA above 3.0 or rank in the top 30% of their class or to Seniors with a GPA above 2.5 or with a class rank in the top 50% of their class.

Students who do not meet academic qualifications may be able to submit an appeal to enter the course. Please talk with your counselor if this applies to you.

St. Cloud State university: Chemistry (CHEM 140/4cr)

Available to Juniors who completed Honors Biology and have a GPA above 3.5 or rank in the top 30% of their class.

Available to Seniors with a GPA above 3.0 or with a class rank in the top 50% of their class.

Must concurrently take Algebra 2 or a higher level math class.

St. Cloud State university: Physics (PHYS 231/4cr)

Available to Juniors who completed Honors Biology AND have a GPA above 3.5

Available to Seniors with a GPA above 3.0

Must concurrently take PRECALCULUS or a higher level math class. (Students who have not yet completed Algebra 2 are not eligible for this class)

University of MN: CIS US History (HIST 1307 & 1308/6cr)

Available to Juniors or Seniors with a GPA above 3.25 or have a class rank in the top 30%.

University of MN: CIS Psychology (Psy 1001/4cr)

Available to Juniors who rank in the top 20% of their class.

Available to seniors who rank in the top 50% of their class and/or successfully completed the general Psychology elective at MHS.

Sophomores in the top 10% of their class may register for this course. Final placement based on course availability and university approval.

University of MN: CIS Intro to Public Speaking (Comm 1101/3cr)

Available to Juniors or Seniors with a class rank in the top 50% of their class

University of MN: CIS Intro to Literature (Comm 1001/4cr)

Available to Seniors with a GPA above 3.25 or with a class rank in the top 20%.

University of MN: University Writing (comm 1301/4cr)

Available to Seniors who are in the top 30% of their class AND have a minimum 3.0 GPA across all former English courses.

University of MN: Spanish (span 1103 & 1104/10cr)

Students must have passed Spanish 3 with a grade of B or higher AND have a GPA above 3.0. No additional class restrictions apply.
